Parliament of Uganda Training 2022
This was a training that took place between 12th December to 16th December 2022 at Mosa Courts Kampala.
The training was facilitated by Centre for Basic Research and attended by The Research Services Department Parliament of Uganda for a period of 5 days.
The training of the Department of Research Services Staff of Parliament of Uganda was conceived in line with the Third National Development Plan (NDPIII) which aims to improve the quality of life of all Ugandans. The training was also in tandem with objective 5 of the NDP III on strengthening the role of the state in guiding and facilitating development and objective 1 of Programme 19 of the NDPIII on the Legislature and Objective 1 of the Parliamentary Strategic Plan that states, “strengthened institutional capacity of parliament to independently undertake its constitutional mandate effectively and efficiently”.
